Nover Drops a Close Fight
02/08/2010
Phillipe Nover came out on the losing end of a very, very close fight against Rob Emerson at UFC 109. It was simply one of those fights that could have gone either way and someone had to lose. While it was a disheartening loss for Phillipe he certainly proved himself to be a talented fighter that belongs in the UFC and can be a danger to anyone he faces. Nover will be back, for sure!

Stann Loses Decision
02/08/2010
Brian Stann lost a unanimous decision to Phil Davis at UFC 109 last Saturday. The larger Davis was able to use his wrestling skills to repeatedly put Brian on his back and control the fight from there. Despite being the smaller of the two fighters and spending much of the fight in bad positions, Stann valiantly fought on and survived, looking for opportunities to turn the fight in his favor. Brian will certainly learn from this fight, continue to improve his game, and be ready for his next call to arms!
