Dustin Poirier's WEC debut did not result in the victory he had trained for yet it was an excellent night for the young fighter as he showed everyone in attendance that he has what it takes to reach the top of the sport. Dustin had success with his standup game and even came close to finishing Danny Castillo with submissions. Poirier lost the decision but served notice that he is a force in the WEC.
