Poirier Impresses Despite Loss

Dustin Poirier's WEC debut did not result in the victory he had trained for yet it was an excellent night for the young fighter as he showed everyone in attendance that he has what it takes to reach the top of the sport. Dustin had success with his standup game and even came close to finishing Danny Castillo with submissions. Poirier lost the decision but served notice that he is a force in the WEC.

Okami Wins Again!

Yushin Okami continued his return to the top of the UFC middleweight division with a hard fought split decision win over powerhouse Mark Munoz at UFC Live on Versus last Sunday in San Diego, California. Stann Victorious at UFC Live on Versus!

Brian Stann showed everyone that he is ever improving and becoming a dangerous opponent for anyone when he came from behind to finish Mike Massenzio by triangle choke in the third round last Sunday. After struggling with Massenzio's takedowns through much of the fight, Stann decided to have faith in his jiu jitsu skills and attempt to finish the fight from the bottom. It worked perfectly and now Stann has another victory under his belt and plenty of momentum to carry him into his next big fight!
