Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim "The Maine-iac" Silva came as close as possible to stopping Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Saturday night. But the resilient Brazilian took the beating and came back with a third round submission to win the Interim UFC Heavyweight Championship. Tim dominated the fight early on with his crisp and powerful punches and sent Nogueira to the canvas. In the third round, however, Sylvia was caught in a tight guillotine choke after a scramble and quickly tapped.
